Ask MPPs why they’re giving trees the axe

For trees and forests, Ontario’s new slogan ought to be "a place not to grow".

That’s the message the Premier sent by axing the 50 Million Tree program that was restoring forest cover across the province.

Tree planting is one of the simplest actions we can take to keep our air and water clean.

This program was also fighting climate change, storing carbon equivalent to taking 1.1 million cars off the road.

When in opposition, Conservatives supported tree planting. So what’s changed?

Ask these PC MPPs why they’re suddenly giving trees the axe!
