The Ford government’s recent decision to move ServiceOntario into Staples and Walmart will make every trip to access government services into a sales opportunity for these US-owned megacorps.

Ontario taxpayers will be paying for the luxury to be sold to, to the tune of millions in retrofits for Staples and Walmart locations.

Worse still, the government has provided no justification for the move. They refuse to release the business case that supports moving ServiceOntario into Walmart and Staples.

That’s why Ontario Greens are calling for the Ford government to release the business case for the move.
