Stop Paving Over Wetlands

Stop Paving Over Wetlands

Doug Ford continues to use special zoning orders to give away the places we love to deep-pocketed developers. Add your name and tell MPP Peter Bethlenfalvy to stop paving over our wetlands.

The Ford government continues to use special zoning orders to give away the places we love to deep-pocketed developers, many of whom are also Conservative party donors.

Concerned residents and conservation groups have been rallying against the Ford government rewriting laws to allow a controversial project to build a 4-million square foot warehouse on top of a provincially significant wetland.

The Lower Duffins Creek Wetland isn't just a pretty place where birds nest.

It’s a critical natural infrastructure that helps prevent the worst impacts of flooding, which is becoming much more common due to climate change.

So when Doug Ford gives away wetlands, he is driving up the climate change costs for all of us.
