We’re all paying for Doug Ford to keep Ontario hooked on fossil gas.

Expanding fossil gas generation will mean higher energy bills and more climate-killing carbon pollution.

Instead of joining the rest of the world in the transition to clean, cheap renewables, the Ford government keeps pouring billions of taxpayer dollars into costly fossil gas plants that are incompatible with a climate-friendly future.

Ontario Greens are bringing the fight to Ford. Our climate is our future. We can’t afford to let Ford put it at risk.

We’re calling on Premier Doug Ford and Minister of Energy and Electrification Stephen Lecce for an immediate halt to gas plant expansion in Ontario.
